TRAY Creative

TRAY Creative is a Seattle-based, full-service marketing, branding and digital design agency serving forward-thinking brands – ones that value their communities as much as their balance sheets – in a wide range of consumer and B2B industries. The agency’s principals founded the company with an imperative to make social responsibility an integral part of the business model. TRAY’s mission is two-fold: to create engaging communications that help brands express the values they share with like-minded audiences; and to use the agency’s business platform to support pro bono work for a variety of causes including sustainability, poverty relief, education and the arts.

University of Washington

Founded in 1861 by a private gift of 10 acres, the UW is one of the oldest public universities on the West Coast. We’re deeply committed to upholding the responsibility that comes with that legacy.

Anyone can enjoy and be enriched by all the UW has to offer, including world-class libraries, art, music, drama, sports and the highest quality medical care in Washington state. Being public also means being engaged with our communities, and through knowledge and discovery we are elevating the quality of lives of others.

Sustainabilty is a part of our mission – from training the next generation of scholars, researchers and leaders, to the way we manage our campus and resources.

Anne Eskridge, Assistant Director for Materials Management, Finance and Business Services – Facilities Services, is a member of the NBIS Advisory Board.

Scope 5

Scope 5′s web-hosted software helps a wide range of private and public-sector organizations extract value from their environmental sustainability and energy data. We are inspired by a vision of transparent, effective sustainability and energy management as a common mode of operation for all organizations.

Scope 5 is the accessible upgrade option from spreadsheets. Organizations typically start their early sustainability reporting efforts using spreadsheet-based tools. Sooner or later these become  inadequate. Alternative solutions are too complex and costly for most organizations. Solving this dilemma is our sweet spot.

Scope 5 is developing – and collaborating with – NBIS and a network of sustainability consulting firms that are adding Scope 5 to their solution tool boxes. Prospective partners can contact us directly (partners@scope5.com).

Learn more about Scope 5 by emailing us (sales@scope5.com) or the NBIS team.
